This policy explains what personal information Nested Social collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it short on purpose.

Who we are

What we collect

• Enquiry details. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, and anything you tell us about your business or property.
• Newsletter details. If you sign up, we collect your email address.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, to quote for and deliver work you’ve asked for, and, if you’ve opted in, to send you the newsletter. Our lawful basis is your consent for marketing, and legitimate interest or performance of a contract for enquiries and client work.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your data, we don’t share it with advertisers, and we don’t add you to a mailing list because you once emailed us about a shoot.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the studio: [email provider, form provider, hosting, accounting software]. Each processes data on our instructions under its own agreement.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t turn into work: up to 24 months. Client records: seven years, as required for tax. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email workwithnested@gmail.com and we’ll act within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
